Lea Moro and the politician and entrepreneur Martin Klöti meet one another in the *ALTEFABRIK in Rapperswill-Jona. Martin Klöti’s background is as diverse as his political career. He has been a teacher, farmer, entrepreneur and landscape architect, founded the blues’n’jazz Festival Rapperswil, was the mayor of Arbon (Stadtamman) and has been a member of the government council (Regierungsrat) in St. Gallen since 2012. Lea Moro’s professional career is also varied. Not is she only a choreographer and dancer, she also works as a lecturer and through her production company, runs an enterprise with several employees. Martin Klöti and Lea Moro are both doers and thinkers, committed people who face challenges, dare to do things, are curious and have a lust for life.
Which themes are discussed between these two people from different generations and with different biographies? Are there parallels in the daily affairs of business, politics and dance? How do they deal with challenges, success and not achieving personal goals? What understanding of the relevance of art and culture do they share? What is their relation to Rapperswil-Jona? And what has always motivated them to move on and to engage in new things?
The conversation that began on the day in July 2019 Lea Moro and Martin Klöti spent together in Rapperswil-Jona will continue during the two performances in the *ALTEFABRIK. The Sketch or draft of their encounter is created from the aggregated material of memory, video and sound as well as from an individual ‹score›.
