You know that guideline: eat 15 grams of carbs to treat a hypo?

Well for me that’s not always the right amount and especially not around 6 AM. At that time I’m fairly carb sensitive and insulin resistant, and I’ll usually see my blood sugars start to climb by themselves around that time.

So early morning lows for me are usually treated with only a few grams of carbs. If I eat more than that I’ll have to correct a high blood sugar after.

What’s your experience? 15 grams, always, for any hypo 🙃?
